Eurochocolate is one of Europe’s largest festivals dedicated to all things chocolate and cacao. This year, from November 15 to 24, the event brought together enthusiasts, experts, and innovators from around the world—and we were thrilled to take an active role in this inspiring gathering once again.
Here’s a look back at some of the standout moments:
A Commitment to a Sustainable Future
One of the highlights of the week was our participation in the signing of the Letter of Intent to join the International Observatory of Cacao and Chocolate. This initiative aims to create a more resilient and transparent cacao supply chain while raising consumer awareness about the true value of cacao. This transformative project is powered by collaborations with Chocoa, Fairtrade International, the Umbria Chamber of Commerce, and several leading Italian universities. The Observatory will connect consumer education, sector best practices, and stakeholder engagement to improve producers’ livelihoods, promote regenerative production systems, and encourage responsible consumption. The signing represents an important step toward building a sustainable and equitable future for cacao producers and consumers alike.
Celebrating Excellence in Cacao
At our stand, we showcased samples from the Best50 Winners of the 2023 Edition of the Cacao of Excellence Awards. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the stories behind these beans and experience the quality and diversity of flavours cacao has to offer.
Immersive Flavour Experiences
A key highlight of our presence at Eurochocolate was hosting flavour tasting sessions. These workshops invited participants to explore the connection between flavour diversity, sustainability, and fairness. Attendees experienced firsthand the flavour potential of cacao, uncovering its diversity and its deeper links to origin and cultivation practices.
It was a true pleasure to be part of this key cacao festival, alongside many international specialty chocolate brands brought to Eurochocolate by Fair Cocoa. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners Eurochocolate, the Umbrian Chamber of Commerce, Constellation Cacao, Laloni, and Fair Cocoa for their collaboration and support. We are grateful to everyone who visited our stand, joined our tastings, and engaged in meaningful conversations about cacao and its extraordinary potential.
Thank you, Perugia—until next time!
